PostSubject: Fujitsu P42hta51es - Ok If You Were Buying Budget Model, But Not During this Price.   Tue Oct 18, 2011 3:48 pm

With the Festive Season approaching it is one of the busiest times of the year, especially regarding the TV, and DVD Industry as we all try and make sure that we donꊰ miss the latest TV Films. For those who are interested in buying a Fujitsu P42HTA51ES the following article might be of interest.

Buying a new television nowadays is a major investment. If you are going to spend what could be considered a small fortune or at the very least a large amount of money then it would be prudent to try and make the correct decision at the outset.

Given the speed and rapidity of technological advances nowadays think carefully about whatever purchase you make and try and ensure within reason the future compatibility of your TV with industry standards.

Television over the years has taken a great number of forms from the old days of analogue Black and White, through the launch of colour television to the latest technologies known as Digital Television (DTT). There are a number of different ways to receive digital television. One of the oldest means of receiving DTV (and TV in general) is using an antenna (known as an aerial in some countries).

For the purposes of this article we want to take a look at purchasing a new Flat Screen Television and in this case the television in question is the Fujitsu P42HTA51ES.

The P42HTA51ES is a 42in Plasma TV and these TV's at present can be found in the region of 2000 pounds sterling or 4000 US dollars. The screen resolution is 1024 X 1024 and with regards to being HD Ready the answer is yes. The Fujitsu has 3 (3 RGB) scarts and the type and number of Multimedia interfaces the P42HTA51ES uses is HDMI and DVI (I each). The type of Tuner for this TV is Analogue and the Fujitsu is available from limited outlets only.

All these points being taken into consideration, how would we view the Fujitsu P42HTA51ES?

First up, we would look at the picture quality and our score here would be 4 out of 10, and for the sound quality we would rate it at 4 out of 10. Another useful aspect to review is the availability and number of relevant connections and our score here would be 10 out of 10. As far as overall features are concerned we would give it 8 out of 10 and for ease of use and overall value for money we would give it, 8 out of 10 and 4 out of 10 respectively.

The overall verdict would be that this TV might have impressed the guys in the Office if it was a budget or mid priced TV but for the price quoted we expected a whole lot more

With the wide range and variety of makes and models available for you to choose from it is unlikely that you will not find something to suite your taste or satisfy any budgetary constraints that you might have.

The important thing to remember here is that with regards to the Fujitsu P42HTA51ES, this is only our opinion and an independent view and does not imply an official endorsement of the [keyword]] either way, good or bad.

With regards to the prices in this article we have tried in all cases to take an average across the industry from a number of well known web sites and so we ask you to bear this in mind and treat these prices as advisory only rather than absolutes.
